I stumbled across http://www.kandjstaats.blogspot.com/ yesterday and my heart aches for this sweet family.  They lost their precious babygirl Maddie too soon.  Even though I have never met The Staats my heart is heavy for them.  Please send thoughts, prayers and well wishes their way.

M~You may have noticed Mommy hugging you a little tighter today.  It is days like today when I vow to never take a single second with you for granted.  I love everything about you and more than anything I love the little girl you have grown to be.  You are so sweet and sassy.  We sing a silly song everyday and it means the world to me.  "Best Friends Forever M and Me".  I love you to moon and back.  XOXO Mommy
